Staking with Portal

What is stakedrop?

Stakedrop is a novel dual incentive program from the NodeOps team which brought you state of the art NaaS, Compute, and RPC services. Portal is a platform where you can stake your supported tokens, and receive a stake drop. This means that, while earning the associated APR, you also earn gNODE which can later be redeemed for $NODE tokens.

How long do staking campaigns last?

Each campaign with the integrated projects will have their own timeline. For example, each Hyperliquid campaign will last for 120 days while each campaign with Beam is for 16 days.

How do I participate in the staking campaigns?

To participate:

  • Connect with your non-custodial wallet containing the said token
  • Register on the Portal at Portal.NodeOps.network/

Do I need technical knowledge to participate in a staking campaign?

No, you don’t need advanced technical knowledge. The process is straightforward: you stake your tokens on a NodeOps Validator by registering on the Portal.NodeOps.network/. The Portal guides you with its intuitive flow, these docs provide step-by-step instructions, and support is available if you encounter issues.

Is there a minimum or maximum amount of tokens I need to stake?

There's no specified minimum or maximum amount of tokens to stake in this campaign. However, the more tokens you stake, the more gNODE points you can earn, increasing your potential $NODE rewards.

Can I unstake my tokens during the campaign?

Each campaign has its own period, and staked tokens are typically locked for the duration to earn gNODE points. After the campaign ends, you can redeem your gNODE points based on the unlock schedule. Check the Portal for specific unstaking policies.

What are gNODE points?

gNODE points are rewards earned by staking your tokens during a campaign. These points can be redeemed for $NODE tokens after the campaign concludes.

What is the total reward pool for the campaign?

The total reward pool is dependent on the partner. For Hyperliquid we offered 1,000,000 gNODE points for the first 120 days campaign while for Beam we offered 500,000 gNODE points for Beam's epoch 1 (which ran for 30 Days; ending May 1st 2025).

  • 25%: 30 days
  • 10%: 15 days

Can I redeem all my gNODE points at once?

What is $NODE, and why is it valuable?
