Rent Compute
🌟 Status: Live on Mainnet
This page details how you can rent a Machine from the crowd-sourced Compute on NodeOps Network.
Renting a Machine gives you the opportunity to earn gNODE rewards for the workloads run on that Machine.
-
You will not be provided with SSH access to Machines you rent from the NodeOps Cloud Marketplace: this is not a traditional VM
-
Renting a Machine is such a unique flow when compared to the Cloud Hyperscaler ecosystem that we coined a new term for it: Farm Compute
-
Most customers access Compute from NodeOps Cloud Marketplace indirectly, by selecting a tool or service
You will be able leverage the Compute you rent by:
- Selecting the Machine when you deploy templates
- Setting the Machine as a preference for auto assigning
- Sharing the Machine Id with others to set it as their preference
