Gensyn
Overview
Gensyn is a Protocol for Machine Learning (ML) computation. It provides a standardised way to execute ML tasks across any device, aggregating computing supply into a single network. The Gensyn Protocol aims to support AI systems at far greater scale than is possible today by providing a Reinforcement Learning (RL) swarm. It's fully open source and permissionless, meaning anyone can contribute to the Network or use it.
RL Swarm is a peer-to-peer system for reinforcement learning. It allows you to train models collaboratively with others in the swarm, leveraging their collective intelligence. You can also connect your model to the Gensyn Testnet to receive an onchain identity that tracks your progress over time.
Why Use NodeOps Cloud for Gensyn Testnet Swarm?
- Contribute to the Gensyn RL Swarm
- You earn gNODE when you participate in the NodeOps ecosystem
Skip the technical headaches — with NodeOps templates, you can instantly deploy Nodes and start contributing to Gensyn. Join the network, support decentralization, and unlock the opportunity to earn token incentives directly from Gensyn.
⚠️ Disclaimer: NodeOps does not control or guarantee rewards. Incentives, if any, are issued solely by Gensyn based on their rules.

Use the video or walkthrough to understand how to deploy a Gensyn Node at-a-click with no setup overhead.
Prerequisites
- A Cloud Marketplace account
- Sufficient funds for the Compute
Step 1: Deploy your Testnet Gensyn RL Swarm Node
- Use the Template Marketplace Gensyn link, or log in, navigate to Template Marketplace, and search for Gensyn RL Swarm Node (Testnet).
- Click Deploy Template, and select the GPU and duration of this Node instance, click Next.
- Pay for the template deployment.
Step 2: Register your Node with Gensyn
- Logged into the Cloud Marketplace, navigate to My Deployments.
- Wait for the template to deploy and click your unique endpoint when it becomes available.
Reload the page to refresh the state if necessary.
- Link your Node to Gensyn by authenticating an email address.
- Visit Dashboard.Gensyn.ai and log in with the same email.
The dashboard will begin to show your Node's status once it begins contributing to the swarm. Allow several hours.
Troubleshooting
- Reload the page if your endpoint does not appear after 20 minutes at Step 2
- Use the same email to register and login to Gensyn with
- If the GPU provider resets the Node, you will need to repeat Steps 2.3 and 2.4
FAQ
- Can I access my Gensyn Node?
No, this Node contributes to the Gensyn swarm, it is not an end-user facing Node. You can review the workloads by clicking on the deployment's card.
- How do I managing my instance>
- Click into your deployed instance to view workload logs
- Check for errors
- Use “Restart Workload” or “Reschedule” if needed (move to a different server)
