Run your GPU.net Nodes with NodeOps Console
Use the video or walkthrough to understand how to set up and deploy your GPU.net Nodes.
Step 1: Install tools
- Creating SS58 Address - Link for visual representation
- Add Polkadot.js Extension to Chrome Browser:

Visit Polkadot.js Extension

Click "Download for Chrome" > Add to Chrome > Add Extension

Go to Extensions > Pin the extension.
- Create an Account:

Open the extension.
-
Click on the "+" button in the top right corner and select "Create New Account."

Copy the generated 12-word MNEMONIC SEED and store it safely.

Provide a name and password for your account.

Click "Add the account with the generated seed."
Step 2: Add the Validator Node

To become a validator on GAN Chain, you need two wallets:

H160 Wallet (holds the NFT bought in the Node Sale).

SS58 Wallet (created in Step 1).
Login to the dashboard at GPU.net Dashboard with your H160 wallet.
- After connecting your wallet, choose to be a Validator and fill in the SS58 address in the pop-up.
Step 3: Add the SS58 account to explorer

Initial Connection with explorer:

Visit GANScan Block Explorer

A pop-up will ask for account connection—select all checkboxes and click Connect Accounts.

You can now see your Polkadot.js extension accounts under Accounts > Accounts.

Update metadata if you receive a prompt:

Go to Settings > Metadata

Click Update Metadata and confirm with "Yes, do this metadata update."
Step 4: Deploy Nodes on NodeOps Dashboard

Visit NodeOps Console and select GPU.net.

Configure:

Node Type
-
Number of Nodes
-
Duration to run the Nodes.

Proceed to payment.
Step 5: Accessing NodeFolio

Navigate to NodeFolio.
-
Click on the Node, and you will see the "Show Session Key” option on the right-hand side.
Step 6: Adding Validator in GPU.net Dashboard
- Copy the session key and click Add Validator Here to be redirected to the GPU.net Dashboard.
Step 7: Add Validator in Explorer

Select the option to add a validator (Validator with the "+" symbol).

In the pop-up:

Select your account (SS58 created earlier).

Enter a staking amount (minimum: 100 GPoints).

In the "keys from rotateKeys" section, paste the session key from Step 5.

Click Bond & Validate and then Sign & Submit.
Step 8: Check NodeFolio on NodeOps Dashboard
Note: After this process, your validator will be visible in the pending validators section. Rewards will start accruing after the next era (1 Era = 24 hours).
