HYCHAIN

HYCHAIN is an Ethereum L2 Rollup and a suite of Web3 infrastructure that was created to eliminate onboarding and technical challenges for Web3 games aiming for widespread adoption.

Prerequisites​

  • EVM-compatible Wallet containing:
    • Sufficient funds or credits for your Node subscription
    • Node Key to run a Guardian Node
    • 3-5 $TOPIA
Node Keys

Node Keys can be purchased from HYCHAIN. As the official Node Infrastructure partner for HYCHAIN, use code "nodeops" to get an additional discount on your Node Key Purchase.

Run a HYCHAIN Guardian Node with NodeOps Console​

Use the video or walkthrough to understand how to set up and deploy your Nodes.

Step 1: Connect with the Console​

  1. From the Console, sign up or log in using the Log In button; bottom left of the Console.

To sign in with an EVM-compatible wallet, you must approve the connection request in your Wallet. Click Connect and Confirm the request.

Step 2: Select your Protocol and Node​

  1. Navigate to Deploy Node on the left side menu and select HYCHAIN.

  2. Update the Quantity to determine how many Nodes to deploy.

  3. Select HYCHAIN & Type of Node as Guardian Node.

  4. Connect your EVM-compatible wallet to make the Node Key available.

Step 3: Set up your Node subscription​

Subscribe by Selecting the duration (in months) & pay

Step 4: Delegate your keys​

Once Payment is Successful, you'll be redirected to the Dashboard where you'll see the Action Required. Under this Step, select Click to Delegate to Delegate the Keys to assign a Guardian Operator for your keys. This is redirected to delegate.xyz which takes care of delegating & assigning the keys to an Operator.

Step 5: Verify your deployment​

Headover to the NodeOps Dashboard and wait for 10-30s & your Guardian Nodes will be up and running. You should see the Node info along with respective logs for your Nodes.

Claim rewards​

Click On the Claim Rewards Button (Once A Day). This submits a request to claim the rewards based on Assertions Submitted & Participated. All the Gas Fees are typically paid in $TOPIA which is covered by NodeOps. So, users don't have to worry about funding their wallets with $TOPIA.

  • Do I need to upgrade my Node/s on my own?

No, NodeOps automates deployments and upgrades.

  • How do I pay for subscriptions?

  • Do I need to Purchase a new Subscription if I purchase a new key?

If you purchase a new key using the same wallet, you don't have to do anything. It would automatically be fetched and set up by our infrastructure in 6h intervals.

If you purchase a new key using a different wallet, You would have to set a new subscription

All the subscriptions would be per wallet basis, you can use the same email to have a single dashboard for all your keys and Nodes, we call it NodeFolio

  • Do I need $TOPIA in my Wallet?

Yes, you need $TOPIA initially to perform Step 3 of delegating the keys to a guardian (typically 3-5 TOPIA). You can bridge it from the Ethereum Network using https://bridge.hychain.com/deposit.

  • Is the Guardian Operator Dedicated One Per User?

Yes, Every User (Signed Up Per Email) would have a dedicated guardian operator.

  • Can I have all my wallets under a single dashboard?

Yes, you can. Sign in with the same email, connect all your wallets, and subscribe using the same email. You would have the same Dashboard (NodeFolio).
