Vemp Horizon

Vemp Horizon Horizon is a specialist blockchain rollup for community centric on-chain gaming.

For most small game developers, incorporating on-chain assets into their games is often hindered by high gas fees, limited Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatibility, and a lack of developer-friendly tools. VEMP Horizon eliminates these challenges, providing a seamless way to integrate on-chain assets and economies into any game design.

At the heart of VEMP Horizon’s success is its rapidly growing decentralized network of Nodes. These Nodes play a crucial role in powering the network, ensuring all transactions are verified and processed accurately. Their decentralized architecture not only prevents slowdowns and bottlenecks but also guarantees smooth and efficient network operations. Beyond transaction processing, these Nodes are vigilant in identifying and resolving issues, including safeguarding against malicious activities like hacking attempts. This ensures the network remains secure, protecting sensitive data while supporting developers in creating cutting-edge on-chain gaming experiences.

Participate in the Node Bootstrapping Event with Your Vemp Horizon Node​

Use the video or walkthrough to understand how to set up and deploy your Nodes.

Step 1: Connect with the Console​

  1. From the Console, sign up or log in using the Log In button; bottom left of the Console.

To sign in with an EVM-compatible wallet, you must approve the connection request in your Wallet. Click Connect and Confirm the request.

Step 2: Select your Protocol and Node​

  1. Navigate to the Node Bootstrapping Event Page on the left side menu and select Vemp Horizon.

Step 3: Set up your Node subscription​

Connect an EVM-compatible wallet to your account. This wallet will store your Vemp Horizon NFT.

  1. Select Nodes and Deployment Options

Choose the number of Nodes you'd like to purchase and select one of the following deployment options:

  • a. Purchase and Deploy: Let us handle all node operations, including monitoring, updates, and maintenance. This option eliminates technical complexities.
  • b. Purchase Only: If you prefer to manage and operate the node independently, select this option.

Note: If choosing Option a, specify the desired duration for node operation.

  1. (Optional) Apply Promo Code

If you have a promo code, enter it in the designated field and click Apply. You can also redeem NodePoints or any discount codes at this stage. After finalizing your choices, click Continue to Pay to proceed.

  1. Complete Payment

Click Pay to initiate the payment process. You’ll be redirected to CopperX, our payment partner, to securely complete your transaction using your preferred blockchain.

Step 4: (Optional) Verify your deployment​

  1. Delegate Your Node

After successful payment, you'll be redirected to Nodefolio. A unique node will be created for you. To delegate your node:

  • Click Click to Delegate.
  • Connect the same wallet containing your Vemp Horizon NFT used for the purchase.
  1. Confirm Setup

Once delegation is complete, your node will begin running. Return to Nodefolio to verify the node's status. It will change from Click to Delegate to Running.

In order to run your Nodes, you need to delegate your licences to your wallet running the Nodes. Head to our delegation site delegate.vemp.xyz.

There are a total of 180 million VEMP as node rewards. More information on the emissions schedule can be found at https://docs.vemp.xyz

  • Is there any KYC required for claiming the rewards or at any step?

No KYC is required to purchase or run the Horizon Nodes.

  • Is there an option to buy the native tokens, except earning from the rewards?

VEMP can be bought on Arbitrum, and bridged over to Horizon. The Arbitrum contract address is 0xaF7E3F16D747e77E927dc94287f86eb95a64d83D.Access the bridge.
