Agent Terminal
What is Agent Terminal?
Agent Terminal is a cutting-edge, Cloud-based playground for collaborative AI development.
Imagine an online collaborative tool like CodePen designed for the complexities of coding, testing, and training AI.
The sandboxed code deploys into NodeOps Cloud: NodeOps' permissionless, secure, verifiable, DePIN compute marketplace. Collaborate, test, and debug your application wherever your team mates are.
This is not a production environment: use this for testing code and training models. Do NOT run critical workloads from Agent Terminal.
Who is Agent Terminal for?
Agent Terminal provides an intuitive coding interface for developers at all levels. The two key segments of our community that will probably be the first-comers are:
AI agent developers
Agent Terminal is for developers who need to experiment, build, and deploy AI solutions in real time. Whether you're working on small-scale agents or testing advanced AI workloads, our developer-friendly terminal offers:
-
Affordable Cloud-linked Compute power: Seamlessly connect to CPU and GPU resources from the NodeOps Cloud Marketplace for foundational coding and intensive AI tasks
-
Collaborative development: Collaborate with your team in real time, sharing code and results instantly
-
Scalable workflows: Handle everything from lightweight non-GPU AI workflows to full-scale AI deployment pipelines as we integrate GPU capabilities
-
An exit from the sandbox: Does your AI agent need to consume real-world data? Don't worry, the AI agent can break out of its box via a plug-in, privacy-friendly, AI Cloud Browser.
We will launch with a free service for as long as we can, and then move to a subscription model going forward.
Why Agent Terminal?
There is an urgent need for a versatile developer platform that integrates with affordable cloud compute as needed. The Agent Terminal connects developers seamlessly with NodeOps' CPU AI workflows, to let you:
- Develop and test AI agents with minimal setup
- Deploy AI workloads in a flexible, fast, and user-friendly environment
- And soon, with GPU options onboarded, scale up to support GPU-intensive AI solutions seamlessly
Interact with your application as if it were running locally to test, debug, and demonstrate applications. And, do this from anywhere, with collaborative features like code sharing, live editing, and commenting. The tools you need are integrated, providing instant access to popular AI frameworks and libraries directly from your development sandbox.
Tools you are familiar with
- HTTP enabled: Collect data from trusted oracles
- asdf: manage different versions of Rust, Node.js, Python, Java, Elixir, etc.) and other tools (like Terraform, Kubernetes, etc.) without conflicts
- Integrate your favorite extensions from the VS Code ecosystem to enhance your development environment
- Easily plug in linters, debuggers, and more, to simplify how you work with different tools and languages
Simplified collaboration
Interact with your application as if it were running locally to test, debug, and demonstrate applications. Share the port-forwarded URL and show the application's output to others or conduct live coding sessions, for simple, effective, remote code collaboration.
Simplified resourcing
Thanks to NodeOps Network's compute marketplace: NodeOps Cloud, you can add the compute you need to your cluster to resource your LLM or AI agent.
Control over your finances
Launching as a free service, with an affordable monthly subscription pricing model planned, the Agent Terminal is an affordable, lock-in-free option for developers. And, when you want to bring in the big guns, the Agent Terminal will estimate the by-the-hour cost of the compute your cluster will consume, meaning you are always in control of your budget.
Whether you're a solo developer experimenting with ideas or part of a team ready to push the boundaries of AI, this platform is for you.
