What is the NodeOps Cloud?

NodeOps Cloud is a verifiable, high-availability, economically secure, decentralized Cloud infrastructure: allowing anyone to provide, purchase, deploy, and manage verifiable Compute.

The NodeOps Protocol that coordinates the Cloud Marketplace rewards participants. This means that there are several ways to earn:

NodeOps Cloud Compute is consumed via "playbooks" of standardized templates.

Why is NodeOps Cloud important?

When you run critical infrastructure in the Cloud, you need to know that your Compute provider can keep those services live. And, to be a successful Compute provider, you need to show consumers that your services are reliable. NodeOps Network's DePIN orchestration layer allows Compute providers to verifiably demonstrate the resilience of the service they provide to Compute consumers.

NodeOps Network offers to transform the traditional Compute consumption model by implementing the best that blockchain technology has to offer: decentralized, tamper-proof Protocols. NodeOps Network enforces Compute provider's integrity with its Autonomous Verifiable Services (AVS). This ensures that Compute providers are incentivized to meet their SLAs through automated rewards and penalties: all verifiably monitored and enforced via the NodeWatch Network.

Why we use two names

Orchestra analogy: NodeOps Network is the conductor, and NodeOps Cloud is the drummer providing the rhythm.

Who is the NodeOps Cloud Marketplace for?

NodeOps Cloud is for anyone who needs user friendly, managed, redundency-enabled, multi-region, Cloud Compute and the tooling to let them focus on what matters.

NodeOps Network Protocol, the coordination layer, exists to enforce the economic alignment of the NodeOps Cloud Marketplace participants. It does this by enabling participants to earn by verifying the Compute provided. Verifiers include:

How is Cloud Compute charged for?

With NodeOps, your Compute is charged by Compute Units (CUs) consumed:

1CU = 1 vCPU, 2GB RAM, 30GB NVMe Disk

How are Compute providers compensated?

Compute providers earn a share of the charge paid for consuming the CUs. That is, they earn a share of the fee the consumer pays. A proportion of the fee is burned as part of the $NODE economics.
